Boil Water Advisory LIFTED

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Carbondale Boil Water Advisory Lifted
The City of Carbondale is pleased to announce that the Boil Water Advisory issued earlier this week has been officially rescinded. Recent water quality tests conducted in coordination with the Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) confirm that the water supply is safe for all normal uses. Residents may resume drinking and using tap water as usual without boiling.
While no further issues are expected, citizens who notice unusual water conditions such as discoloration or odor are asked to report them directly to City Hall by calling 785-836-7108 or submitting an online report at www.carbondaleks.com/contact-us/. Please include the address, your contact information, and details about the concern so city staff can follow up promptly.
Residents are also encouraged to remind friends and neighbors to report any concerns through these channels instead of relying on social media posts, as location and details are often missing online.
The Carbondale City Council also welcomes citizen feedback at its regular meetings, held on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month at City Hall. All meetings include time for public comment.
The City extends sincere thanks to all residents for their cooperation, conservation efforts, and support during this event.
