City Council Meetings Coming to YouTube – Starting November 3, 2025!

Beginning November 3, 2025, the City of Carbondale will begin livestreaming City Council meetings on our official YouTube channel.

Following months of discussion and citizen input, the City Council approved livestreaming at its October 20th meeting by a 3-1 vote.
We look forward to opening this new window into your municipal government.
This initiative reflects the City’s continued commitment to transparency and accessibility - allowing residents to watch Council discussions and decisions from anywhere.
Livestreams and recordings will be managed in accordance with the City’s Policy for Livestreaming and Retention of City Council Meetings and our Social Media Terms of Use.
These videos are for public information only and do not constitute the official meeting record. Approved meeting minutes shall remain the only official record of meetings.
