The Carbondale Police Department is located at 202 Main. Not only do they patrol the community, they are always looking out for the safety and well being of the citizens of Carbondale. The Carbondale Police Department is also responsible for Animal Control.

The Carbondale Police Department has for the past 4 years hosted, National Night Out. We are looking forward to this years event on August 19, 2017.
National Night Out is an event for the community held at Jones Youth Park. The event promotes Crime Prevention and community awareness.
